Stellantis has launched a strategic initiative with Accenture and Nvidia to integrate AI-enabled digital twin technology across its worldwide manufacturing facilities. The collaboration will use Nvidia’s Omniverse platform and accelerated computing to create virtual replicas of production plants. These digital twins allow real time optimization of manufacturing operations, with initial pilot programs set to begin at selected North American plants in 2026. Francesco Ciancia, Stellantis’ Head of Manufacturing, stated the effort rethinks how production systems are designed, operated, and continuously improved.
